Art Class 9-14 years, winter season January to March 2025

Time: Saturdays 15:45-17:45

In this course, we will be using pencils, markers, crayons, brushes, ink, watercolor, acrylic paint on canvas, collage, cardboard and other materials. Different techniques will be introduced and we will discuss the process of creativity, and how we can learn and develop through experimenting. We will get to know to use fast techniques for drafting and skecthing, as well of the slow processes of a detailed work. Through the creative process, we learn how to observe objects, shapes, structures, to work with color relationships and light. We will learn about still lifes, do illustration exercises, portraits and sketches.

All materials needed will be supplied by Studio.8.

At the end of the season, all students are invited to join our Students Exhibition in our Studio.8 Gallery, and students may select own art works for the exhibition.
