I will introduce the tools to start writing calligraphy, and how to hold the brush correctly to write Chinese strokes, and then start writing Chinese characters on rice paper

Through copying classic works, analyzing the structure of characters, and understanding the rules of brushstrokes, you will gradually improve your writing skills. Additionally, we will explore the rhythm, charm, and meaning behind calligraphy!

All materials needed will be supplied by Studio.8: Brush, ink, rice paper.
As always, we offer a cup of tea/coffee and snacks.
